Curada por Philip Larratt-Smith y concebida como continuación de su exposición anterior en Malba, Andy Warhol, Mr. America (2009-2010), Bye Bye American Pie explora las transformaciones de la cultura estadounidense desde los años setenta hasta el presente a través de la producción de seis de los artistas más importantes de los Estados Unidos de los últimos 40 años. Esta investigación reúne piezas claves de cada artista, en diversos soportes: pinturas, fotografías, instalaciones y obras sobre papel, provenientes de importantes colecciones públicas y privadas internacionales.

Curated by Philip Larratt-Smith and conceived as a continuation of his previous exhibition in Malba, Andy Warhola, Mr. America (2009-2010), Bye Bye American Pie explores the transformation of American culture from the 1970s to the present through the art of six most important artists from the United States in the last 40 years. This investigation brings together key pieces from each artist through diverse mediums: paintings, photographs, installations and paper works from important international public and private collections.
